March Theme - Balance
During the spring equinox, the earth's position relative to the sun brings virtually equal amounts of lightness and darkness.
It is the perfect time to consider what "balance" means to the mind, body and spirit.
On the one hand, yoga helps promote physiological, mental and emotional equilibrium.
On the other hand, equilibrium also means we can practice witnessing our polarities with compassion, and without attachment.
We can allow our solar and lunar aspects — like joy and sadness, calm and anger, etc. — to coexist without feeling the need to erase one aspect or favor one over the other.
