Our classes - Need help choosing?

  • Slow Flow

This class moves slowly and deliberately from start to finish, encouraging you to flow to the rhythm of your breath with greater intention. Slow flow is not necessarily easier than other forms of flow; this class can take you into deep stretches and challenge the restless mind. Most abilities welcome. Leave this session feeling grounded and open.

  • Essential Flow

This class explores many of yoga’s classic standing poses and stretches, all woven together with the breath. The class begins with personal intention setting, breathing practice to help settle the mind before building up to a peak flow. Leave the class feeling revitalized and ready to seize the day!

  • Fire Up Flow

Appropriate for experienced practitioners, this class moves at a steady clip through intermediate to advanced vinyasa flow sequences, challenging standing and balance poses, strong core work, balanced with sufficient time for stretching and cooling down. Leave this session feeling strong and energized.

  • Yoga Fundamentals

A well-rounded class for everyone. Whether an experienced yoga practitioner looking to deepen your knowledge and practice of fundamental poses (asanas), or a beginner hoping to become comfortable with the foundations of yoga practice, you will find what you are looking for in this slower paced Hatha class that allows plenty of time to find proper alignment in each asana and to find your own expression of each asana as well, from the inside out.

  • Hatha

In contrast to flow classes, hatha emphasizes deeper exploration of each pose (asana) with the breath. We will spend some time in each shape the body takes, allowing the breath to take us on a journey further into the physical and spiritual essence of each asana, discovering what it means to us, from the inside out.

  • Gentle Yoga

This class is for yogis at any experience level who would like a gentle practice. Somewhere between chair and unwind yoga, Gentle Yoga will offer slow progressions through a set of gentle asanas, without holding any one position for too long, but without moving too fast either. This class is perfect for when you are interested in a light practice that will help you to connect to your body, mind, spirit, and breath, in a supportive and accessible way

  • Unwind Yoga

A practice designed to help you unwind and relax at the end (or any time) of the day. We will focus on stretching the hips and legs, release tension from the shoulders and upper back, de-clutter the head, and calm down frazzled nerves with breathing practices. An hour of unwinding through asanas and light movement followed by 15-20 minutes of meditation (or an extended savasana)

  • Chair Yoga

With gentle stretches and movements using a chair, this class is appropriate for all levels and abilities, whether you’re seeking a gentle practice, a senior member or recovering from an injury or illness. We will begin with seated warmups, then move on to standing poses, gentle flows, and assisted balances. Most of all, we will have fun! This is a 45-minute class. Learn more here.

  • Yin Yoga

Yin yoga works deeply into our body and mind with passive, longer-held poses. It helps to build resilience within the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. This is in contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles. It is also a great practice for slowing down the mind and being present with oneself. You will likely leave class feeling like you just had a deep tissue massage. Last Yin class of each month incorporates singing bowls sound bath. Learn more here.

  • Restorative Yoga

Release tension and relax in this restful practice done primarily sitting or reclining. We use all sorts of tools — straps, bolsters and blankets — to support the body’s journey toward gentle realignment and healing of both mind and body. Last Restorative class of each month incorporates singing bowls sound bath. First Restorative class of each month incorporates optional craniosacral hands on techniques. Learn more here.

  • Meditation

The supportive environment of a group meditation can help you to develop or deepen your meditation practice. Take time to slow down the mind and join the present moment. We will guide you through the beginning and end of the practice and allow you to be with yourself in the in-between time.

“You do not need to do anything, just remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, just wait. Do not even wait, just be quiet, and still and solitary, and the universe will expose itself to you. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet.” — Franz Kafka

  • Yoga Nidra

Guided Savasana meditation. The first part of the practice is dedicated to gentle stretches and movements to get the prana flowing. The second part is Yoga Nidra, where you will set a personal intention, or Sankalpa, and then be guided into a sensory journey to build greater body awareness, then into visualizations or affirmations. You will leave this session feeling refreshed and relaxed. Learn more here.

  • Sound Bath

Come relax to the calming vibrations of singing bowls mixed with vocalizations and other delightful bells and whistles, so to speak. Some gentle stretching followed by a long savasana in which you will be regaled with healing vibrations. Learn more here. May incorporate some call and response chanting in the Sanskrit language occasionally—for fun, inspiration, and to nourish the soul. Click here to learn more about this beautiful practice. No singing experience required—it’s just about feeling the vibration of our voices together. And yes, you may use your regular class passes for this event.

  • Intro To Yoga Series

A weekly series of up to 6 classes for yoga beginners, or anyone returning to yoga or looking for a refresher. You will be guided through all of the basic poses you might encounter in a yoga class, given instruction on how to practice each pose safely and effectively, and be introduced to the names of poses so you will recognize them when you go to a class.
