Prenatal yoga focuses on positions that are designed for pregnant people’s bodies. Classes are structured to help people prepare for childbirth by relaxing the body and focusing on safe techniques and poses in all stages of pregnancy. Classes are low impact by design with many physical, mental and physiological benefits. With an emphasis on breathing, stamina, pelvic floor work, restorative poses, and core strength, Prenatal Yoga can increase resiliency during and after pregnancy.

Sami began leading prenatal yoga classes, while pregnant herself, under the mentorship of Helen Garde at Yoga Harmony and received her Prenatal Yoga certification from Yoga Renew.
